The reason for Lamis Al-Hadidi’s divorce from Amr Adeeb
Journalist Lamis Al-Hadidi separated from journalist Amr Adeeb, amid a state of family secrecy, as the divorce occurred after a marriage that lasted for more than 31 years.
Sources confirmed to Cairo 24 that the divorce occurred based on Lamis Al-Hadidi’s wish, and the separation took place unamicably.
Amr Adeeb is considered one of the most prominent media figures in the Arab world. He has succeeded over many years in establishing his position as one of the most important presenters of talk show programs. He graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University, and began his professional career early, before achieving wide fame through the Cairo Today program, which was distinguished by raising thorny issues and discussing files affecting public opinion.
He also held a number of important media positions, including Executive Director of Nojoom FM Radio, and former Editor-in-Chief of Al-Alam Al-Youm newspaper.
As for the journalist Lamis Al-Hadidi, she is considered one of the most prominent media figures in Egypt and the Arab world, where she is famous for her sober professional style and her ability to analyze complex political and economic issues with boldness and clarity, which made her enjoy the trust of a wide segment of the public.
