Upon examination, it was found that on April 7, the complainant’s brother, a student residing in the center’s district, reported to the Shebin al-Koum Police Station that he had been harmed by the assault against him by the complainant, a student residing in the same district, by beating him with a knife and inflicting a permanent wound on him, as a result of disagreements between them due to joking after she left their school.
The defendant was arrested at the time, and in possession of the knife used in the assault, and when confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as referred to in the same dispute.
Legal measures were taken and the competent authorities took over the investigation.
