Al-Ahly invites the Minister of Sports to the opening ceremony of the African Women’s Volleyball Championship
The opening ceremony of the tournament will be attended by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of the Club and members of the Board of Directors, Bushra Hojeij, President of the African Volleyball Confederation, Yasser Qamar, President of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, Hassan Abed, Executive Director of the Egyptian Volleyball Federation, and ambassadors of the countries whose clubs are participating in the tournament.
For its part, the supreme organizing committee of the tournament, headed by Mohamed Al-Ghazawi, a member of the club’s board of directors, and Ahmed Hossam Awad, a member of the board and vice-chairman of the committee, was keen to ensure all arrangements for the opening ceremony of the tournament, and all committees working in the tournament were alerted to work on the comfort of all delegations participating in the tournament and providing all their needs. The committee developed an integrated organizational plan that included all logistical and administrative details.
Coordination was made with various concerned authorities to ensure the arrival of participating delegations from various African countries, and the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal and Al-Shuhada Halls were equipped with the latest artistic and technical capabilities, in terms of the stadium floor, lighting and sound systems.
The committee was assured of the arrangements for training and transportation dates, with the provision of buses to transport the teams between hotels and training and match halls, as well as the provision of integrated medical crews and ambulance units equipped to deal with any emergency cases. Specialized work teams were also formed to supervise all aspects of the tournament, from the reception to the conclusion of the competitions
