The Board of Trustees of the Foundation was opened Farouk Hosni Yesterday, Saturday, the Farouk Hosni Museum of Culture and Arts held the Museum of the Artist Farouk Hosni, in the presence of a high-level elite of cultural, official and diplomatic figures, in addition to a large number of artists, thinkers and critics from Egypt and the Arab world.

The Farouk Hosni Museum includes precise selections of the artist’s works representing his various stages and aesthetic transformations, in addition to works previously displayed in international and regional museums and galleries, allowing the visitor a comprehensive reading of a rich and renewed artistic path.
The museum is not limited to the works of its owner, but also includes Farouk Hosni’s personal collection of masterpieces of Egyptian and international art, by prominent names including: Anthony Tapies, Georges de Kerkou, Bousan, Mahmoud Mokhtar, Mahmoud Saeed, Adam Henein, Saif Wanly, Mounir Kanaan and others, in a rich artistic dialogue between different schools and experiences.
The museum also includes a specialized library containing the most important artistic and literary references, in addition to a music library and a media room dedicated to displaying films and documentary works, in an integration of knowledge that combines image, text and sound.
The Farouk Hosni Museum of Arts comes under the umbrella of the Farouk Hosni Foundation for Culture and Arts as a living cultural project that not only displays works, but also seeks to establish art as a sustainable human value and revive the aesthetic dialogue between the artist and the public.
The opening of the museum yesterday witnessed the presence of a number of prominent figures, including Naguib Sawiris, Gamal Mubarak, and the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno.
