The artist passed away today, Friday, February 27, 2026 Kitty Futsaki At the age of 96, in her home in the Greek capital, Athens, after a long life full of artistic works, as she was one of the most prominent stars of Egyptian cinema in the 1940s and 1950s.

The Greek doctor and writer Manolis Tasoulas, her close friend in her final years, confirmed the news of her death.

Kitty was born in Alexandria in 1927 to a Greek family, and her artistic talent began at a young age, where she learned ballet and then developed into belly and show dancing, which qualified her to work in theaters and casinos before entering the world of cinema.

During her artistic career, Kitty participated in many productions, and her presence was distinguished by her dancing and distinguished performance, the most prominent of which was: Ismail Yassin’s Goblin, one of her most famous roles that she performed with the late comedian Ismail Yassin.
