The East Deir area, next to Al-Salam Mosque in the Esna Center in Luxor Governorate, witnessed, at dawn today, the collapse of a one-story house built of mud brick.
The competent authorities received the report at 2:31 am, and the emergency was notified at 2:44, as civil protection forces and ambulances moved to the site of the accident, arriving at 2:47.
A number of ambulances were sent to the site of the accident, while search and insurance work was carried out and the rubble was removed.
Taiba Specialized Hospital was designated as an evacuation hospital for cases.
The sources confirmed that the numbers of injured and deaths are still under investigation, and the necessary legal measures are being taken and the developments of the accident are being followed up.
