Follow Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor AssiutToday, the work of the electoral committees is being conducted from within the main operations room in the governorate’s general office, which is directly connected to the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, in order to follow the executive position of the electoral process, moment by moment, in various centers and cities.

The follow-up took place, in the presence of accountant Adly Abu Aqeel, Secretary General of the Governorate, Khaled Abdel Raouf, Assistant Secretary General, and a number of executive leaders, undersecretaries of various ministries, directors of service directorates, and utility and service companies.
The Governor of Assiut confirmed that the electoral committees at the governorate level received voters in a calm and orderly atmosphere, noting that the main operations room carefully monitors the regularity of the entry and exit of citizens and provides all security and safety factors, under full judicial supervision and intensive security from the police.
Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr indicated that the governorate had raised the state of maximum readiness in all executive and service agencies, and directed to facilitate the voting process for the elderly and people of determination by providing wheelchairs, umbrellas, and waiting seats, in addition to implementing cleaning campaigns, removing waste around the electoral headquarters, and preparing the roads leading to them to ensure ease of movement.
The governor explained that the National Grid Control Center works as an integrated platform for field follow-up, through the latest visual display and immediate monitoring technologies, allowing rapid handling of any observations or emergency cases, in coordination with the heads of the centers and utility sectors. He also stressed the speed of responding to received reports and ensuring that any obstacles that may affect the conduct of the electoral process are overcome.
He pointed out that field follow-up continues throughout the day through the heads of the centers, their deputies, and emergency teams, to ensure the regularity of voting within all committees, with full commitment to neutrality, implementing the instructions of the National Elections Authority, and providing the required technical and logistical support.
The Governor of Assiut called on citizens to participate consciously and positively, stressing that the turnout reflects the keenness of the people of Assiut to support constitutional entitlements and strengthen the state’s progress under the new republic led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He stressed that follow-up work will continue until the boxes are closed and the sorting process begins according to the established procedures.
