A woman in her forties was injured when the wall of a staircase overlooking the street fell on the first floor of her house in the village of Al-Aqaria, Dar Al Salam, east of Sohag Governorate.

Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Security in Sohag, received a notification from the warden of the Dar El Salam Police Station, stating that a staircase wall in one of the houses had fallen and that there was an injured person.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that the wall of a staircase overlooking the street on the first upper floor of one of the buildings had fallen, resulting in the injury of a 41-year-old woman. She was transferred to the University Hospital in Sohag to receive the necessary treatment, and her condition is stable.
It was found that there were no dangers threatening the house or impeding the movement of the street, and follow-up is being conducted by the concerned authorities.
The necessary legal measures were taken, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to undertake the investigation.
