The local unit of the center and city of Al-Fashn launched intensive campaigns to follow up on food violations, in parallel with the continuation of its efforts in hygiene files and confronting violations, within the framework of the governorate’s plan to improve the level of services provided to citizens and achieve discipline in the markets.
This came in implementation of the assignments of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, as Medhat Salah, Head of the Center and City of Al-Fashn, continued implementing a surprise inspection campaign on a number of municipal bakeries in the villages of Delhans and Absuj, in coordination with the Supply Department, in response to complaints from some citizens regarding the quality of the bread produced.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of a number of various reports, including violations of the low weight of the loaf, non-compliance with hygiene requirements, and failure to give disbursements to citizens, in addition to the lack of a visit book, whereby the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.
In the same context, the Al-Fashn Supply Department carried out a campaign to visit the shops and street vendors in the Al-Fashn weekly market, and resulted in the issuance of 6 misdemeanor ration records, which varied between displaying goods of unknown origin, and goods unfit for human consumption and expired, in addition to not announcing the prices of the goods offered, and the seized items were seized until the Public Prosecution’s decision was issued.
In the field of cleanliness and improving the environment, the local unit continued its daily efforts to remove the accumulations of garbage and waste from the streets and collection places and transport them to the intermediate station, where more than 50 tons of garbage and waste were removed from the city streets, in addition to emptying containers, within the framework of preserving the civilized appearance and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
