The village of Al-Mashawda Al-Gharbiyya in the center and city of Gerga, south of Sohag Governorate, witnessed, at dawn today, the complete collapse of a citizen’s house, without any human casualties.
A house collapsed without casualties in Sohag
Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received a report stating that the house of citizen Albert Jamal JJ, which consisted of two floors and was built of red brick, had collapsed, while the ceilings were made of leaves and veins.
The concerned authorities went to the site of the report, and it was found that the collapse resulted in complete damage to the contents of the house only, without any loss of life recorded.
The concerned authorities informed Social Affairs, and the necessary measures are being taken regarding the incident and a report on the incident has been prepared in preparation for presenting it to the competent investigation authorities.
