The Ministry of Interior denied what was circulated on a number of social media pages and a satellite channel regarding a fire breaking out and smoke rising inside a gas station in the 10th of Ramadan City in Sharkia Governorate.
Ministry of Interior: Gas explosion at a gas station on the 10th of Ramadan, without injuries or fire
The Ministry explained, in an official statement, that the examination revealed that a gas explosion occurred resulting from increased pressure during the discharge of gases into the diesel tank vents at the aforementioned station, without a fire occurring.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that there were no injuries or damage as a result of the incident, stressing that what was raised in this regard is completely false.
