The investigating authorities decided to detain the accused for 4 days pending investigation, on the grounds that he was accused of committing a murder during a quarrel that broke out in Al-Rawda village, Mallawi District District, Minya Governorate.

The beginning of the incident occurred when the security services in the Minya Security Directorate received a report from the Rescue Operations Room, indicating that a quarrel had broken out and a murder had occurred inside the village of Al-Rawda in the Mallawi Center district.
Immediately, the security services moved to the location of the report, and examination revealed that a young man named Reda had been killed. A, 27 years old, sustained a penetrating stab wound to the abdomen using a sharp object.
The body was transferred to the Mallawi Specialized Hospital morgue, at the disposal of the investigating authorities, until it was presented to forensic medicine to determine the causes of death and authorize burial.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, the necessary legal measures were taken, and the competent authorities were notified, which initiated investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and arrest the rest of the parties to the altercation.
