Counselor Yasser Kantoush issued an explanatory statement regarding the ongoing dispute regarding the artist’s official channel on YouTube, which stated: A ruling was issued by the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration obliging the arbitral authority to pay an amount of 370 thousand US dollars in favor of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab.
He continued: This ruling confirms the artist’s right to what she requested, and reflects the strength and soundness of her legal position after submitting all documents and evidence before the arbitration panel, so that the decision is issued fair and acknowledges all of her rights, and this ruling is a new confirmation of respect for contracts and the preservation of legal rights.
In another context, many news spread about the participation of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab in one of the upcoming Ramadan 2026 advertisements, for the benefit of one of the famous telecommunications companies.
