Local Syrian media announced today, Wednesday, 5 workers were killed and 9 injured in an ammunition warehouse explosion north of the town of Kafr Takharim in the Idlib countryside.

International news agencies indicated that today’s explosion occurred in an ammunition warehouse in the city of Kafr Takharim in the Idlib countryside. They also pointed out that there are missing people under the rubble, and specialized teams are investigating the causes of the explosion.
SANA quoted the Internal Security Command in Idlib: Initial information indicates that the explosion occurred as a result of the work of a workshop near the place.
In a separate context, In a statement expressing its concern about escalating tensions in Syria, especially along the coast and in Suwayda, the Independent Democratic Administration of North and East Syria warned that targeting civilians and demonstrators would push the country into a new wave of violence.
The statement said that the attacks on demonstrators demanding their legitimate rights, and the use of armed groups under names such as the “tribal army” and tribal forces, constitute a systematic crime aimed at undermining internal peace and sowing discord among Syrians.
