The Egyptian Super Championship for men’s volleyball for the local season 2025-2026 continues today, Saturday, as the second day of the tournament will be held at Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City, as part of activities extending over three consecutive days, with the participation of four of the game’s top clubs in Egypt.
Strong confrontations on the second day
The second day’s match program witnesses two high-caliber confrontations, the first bringing together the teams of Zamalek and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, in a match that carries a strong competitive nature due to the great history between the two teams and their desire to achieve a positive result that enhances their chances of winning the title.
In the second match, Al-Ahly will meet Petrojet, as the Red Giant seeks to continue its journey strongly in the tournament, while Petrojet aspires to achieve a surprise against one of the most prominent candidates to win the Super Cup.
The tournament concludes with decisive confrontations
The Egyptian Super Cup competitions are scheduled to conclude next Monday, with two decisive matches, with Petrojet facing its counterpart, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, while the curtain falls on the tournament with the awaited summit between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, which will be held at exactly eight o’clock in the evening, amid great public anticipation, despite it being held without the presence of the fans.
Tournament system and dates
The Egyptian Super Championship for Men’s Volleyball is held in a single-round league system, where each team meets the rest of the teams once, and the champion is determined based on the number of points achieved at the end of the competitions.
The matches will be held on January 16, 17 and 19 at Hassan Mustafa Hall, which hosts the entire tournament.
Super Cup without fans
An official source within the Egyptian Volleyball Federation revealed that the Super Matches are being held without public attendance, in implementation of the Federation’s decision, with follow-up being limited to the technical and administrative bodies and the media only, while providing the necessary media coverage to relay the tournament’s events first-hand.

The tournament is expected to witness a strong technical level and fierce competition between the participating teams, with each team seeking to impose its control early and win the first titles of the local season, especially with the conclusion of the tournament with the Al-Ahly and Zamalek summit, which always carries a lot of excitement and competition.
