Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, agreed to grant students of schools in which there are committees for the 2025 House of Representatives elections in South Sinai cities a 3-day vacation, starting on Sunday and ending on Tuesday.
Adel Atlam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in South Sinai, told Cairo 24 that, after presenting it to the Conservative Minister, Dr. Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, he agreed to grant all school students scheduled for the 2025 House of Representatives electoral committees a 3-day vacation starting from Sunday, November 23, and continuing until Tuesday, November 25, until the end of the House of Representatives elections.
Atlem confirmed that the schools that have electoral committees are: Jeel October Preparatory School and Jeel October Primary School in Sharm El-Sheikh, Fatima Al-Zahraa School in Dahab, Bilal Bin Rabah School in Nuweiba, Al-Salam Joint Secondary School in St. Catherine, Refaa Al-Tantawi Preparatory School in Tur Sinai, Ali Mubarak Primary School in Tur Sinai, and Martyr Amr Shukry Preparatory School for Girls in Tur Sinai. Badr Primary School in Tur Sinai, Taha Hussein Primary School in Tur Sinai, Ras Sudr Military Industrial School, Martyr Zakaria Primary School in Ras Sudr, Abu Zneima Preparatory School in Bab Bouznema, and Abu Burdis Joint Preparatory School in Baburdis.
Equipping all schools
Atlam revealed that all schools that have electoral committees have been equipped as electoral headquarters, with all necessary needs provided, and the streets surrounding the electoral committees have been illuminated, and the necessary workers have been provided, in addition to providing the schools that have committees with additional electrical transformers, and providing all the capabilities that help the success of the electoral process in South Sinai.
He explained that coordination had been made with city councils to carry out cleaning work around and in front of schools, and to provide all necessary capabilities within the committees.
