Team loses Al-Ahly Led by Danish coach Jes Torop, the team’s coach, a large number of Al-Ahmar players, during the Professional League Cup tournament, which begins this December.
Al-Ahly opens its campaign in the Professional League Cup competitions for the current season, with the match that brings it together against its counterpart Enppi in the first round of the group stage of the tournament.
A large number of Al-Ahly players will be absent from Al-Ahly’s ranks, especially in light of the championship competitions being held during the period when the Premier League competition was suspended, and the Arab Cup and African Cup of Nations tournaments were being held.
Al-Ahly loses the efforts of 15 players, led by 8 members of the first national team, namely Mohamed El-Shenawy and Marawan Attia, along with Mohamed Hani, Mustafa Schubert, Ahmed Mustafa Zizo, Imam Ashour, in addition to Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and Yasser Ibrahim.
Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Mohamed Sharif are also absent from Al-Ahly’s ranks, along with Karim Fouad and Yassin Marei Al-Rabai, who is with the second Egyptian national team, which is participating in the Egypt Cup.
Karim Fouad suffered an injury while he was in the second Egypt national team camp in Qatar, which will keep him out of participation for a long period of time, between 4 and 6 weeks.
In addition, Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane will also be absent due to his participation in the Arab Cup and then the African Cup of Nations, and Aliou Dieng, who is currently with the Malian national team, in addition to Achraf Ben Charqi, who has been excluded from the Moroccan national team’s account in the Arab Cup tournament due to his injury, which will keep him out of participation for 3 weeks.
