
Journalist Ibrahim Abdel Gawad, during his program “On Stadium”, revealed the latest developments in the file for renewing the financial contract of Aliou Dieng, the club’s midfielder. Al-AhlyIn light of the great interest in his future during the coming period.
Abdel-Gawad confirmed that Al-Ahly management raised the renewal offer submitted to the player to more than $1.5 million annually, in a serious attempt to preserve one of the team’s most important pillars in recent seasons.
Despite the improved financial offer, the journalist explained that Dieng had already received calls from European clubs that expressed their desire to include him, indicating that the player would prefer to have a professional experience at the European level if he had the appropriate opportunity, which makes his position on renewing with Al-Ahly undecided yet.
Youssef Belamri approaches the Red Fort
In a related context, Ibrahim Abdel-Gawad announced that Moroccan Youssef Belamri, the Moroccan Raja player, is expected to arrive in Cairo next Wednesday, in preparation for officially signing his transfer contracts to Al-Ahly Club and finalizing the deal procedures.
He explained that Al-Ahly and Raja reached, during the past hours, a final agreement stipulating the transfer of Belamri to the ranks of the Red Giants with a contract extending for three and a half seasons, as part of a plan to strengthen the team’s ranks with distinguished elements.
Postponing the official announcement of the deal
A source within Al-Ahly revealed that the official announcement of the contract with Youssef Belamri will take place after the end of the Moroccan national team’s journey in the African Cup of Nations, especially after the “Atlas Lions” succeeded in reaching the final match, out of respect for the player’s association with his country’s national team in this major continental event.
A final agreement to include Hadi Riad
On the other hand, Abdel-Gawad confirmed that Al-Ahly has ended its agreement with Petrojet Club to include Hadi Riyad, the team’s defender, with the contracts being officially signed next Sunday. This deal comes within Al-Ahly’s strategy to strengthen the defense line with young elements capable of making a difference, in preparation for the upcoming local and continental challenges.
