Omar Farouk Al-Fishawy said: Sumaya Al-Alfy was always advising me and my brother Ahmed to look after each other, telling us to take care of each other and do not let anything separate you or keep you away from each other.
He added: She, my love, has been coexisting and very happy in the last period. We were around her and did not leave her at all. Regarding the illness, she always thanked God and said, “Praise be to God.” She was a beautiful and peaceful person, and she loved life, even if she was a little far away from art or going out, but she always said, “I am happy,” and was satisfied with everything. She was strong and had great faith.
Regarding her relationship with Farouk al-Fishawi, he said: They never made us feel at all about the issue of separation. They always brought us together, and they always made sure that we meet on Friday. They were friends for life. She stayed with him until the last moment of his life, and she always spoke well of him.
Sumaya Al-Alfi left our world after she was exposed to a severe health illness, which led to severe complications, which led to the deterioration of her health condition, so her soul overflowed to its innocent and she departed, leaving behind great sadness in the hearts of her fans and lovers.
