The Privacy Display feature tops the list of the most anticipated additions to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, as it relies on advanced AMOLED technology aimed at blocking screen content from prying eyes. In this context, a new leak indicates the possibility of major Chinese companies adopting similar technology in their upcoming flagship phones.
Well-known leaker Digital Chat Station reports that a number of Chinese companies have already begun testing hardware-level privacy screen technology, similar to what the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to offer. This means that the feature will not be just a software solution, but rather an integrated part of the screen components themselves.

The leaker explains that this technology may appear in flagship phones expected to be launched next September. Recent rumors indicate that Xiaomi may unveil the Xiaomi 18 series around that time, while the Vivo X500 and Oppo Find X10 series are expected to arrive during the month of October. OnePlus and Realme are also likely to unveil their flagship devices within the same time frame.
However, it has not yet been confirmed which of these models will actually adopt the new privacy screen technology, so the final details remain subject to official announcements in the coming months.
