Leaks indicate that Xiaomi will soon launch its flagship phone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, in China on December 26, which has raised questions about whether the phone will reach global markets or not. The answer, according to the latest data, is yes.

Although there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi yet, the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra recently received FCC certification.

The phone bears the model number 2512BPNDAG, which appears in the IMEI database as actually belonging to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and the letter G at the end of the number confirms that the device is intended for global markets.

The phone is expected to be launched running Android 16 with the HyperOS 3 interface, in addition to its support for modern communication technologies, such as 5G networks, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth LE, in addition to the wireless charging feature.

According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, to be the company’s most powerful flagship phone in terms of performance.

In terms of photography, the phone is expected to focus heavily on cameras, with a 1-inch main sensor, which will enhance its position as one of the most prominent upcoming photography phones.
