With every new piece of information about GTA 6, the circle of theories through which players try to explain the launch dates, the reasons for postponement, the size of the game, and gameplay characteristics expands.

After the release was postponed for the second time to November 19, 2026, it is expected that computer players will wait a long time before obtaining their copy. But recently a new theory has emerged that suddenly reduces this wait.

The Detective Seeds leaker – who had previously mistakenly expected the end of May to release the second trailer despite its early release – is now putting forward a theory about when the PC version will be released.

As a reminder, it took Rockstar more than a year to launch the PC version of GTA V after its release on home consoles, and many expect the same scenario with GTA 6. But according to Detective Seeds’ vision, the PC version may arrive only three to six months after the first launch.

However, the leaker confirms that this hypothesis is not based on internal information, but only on personal analysis. According to his opinion, releasing the computer version during this period gives home console players a full six months to enjoy the game.

The PC version will then be released in 2027, increasing sales of the game before the arrival of new home consoles expected between 2027 and 2028, followed by the release of an enhanced version specifically for the PS6 to attract an additional audience.

But this proposal did not convince everyone; There is a segment of players who believe that the computer version usually needs improvements and additional technologies, as happened with GTA V, and this requires waiting for at least a full year after the first launch.

From their point of view, this method gives Rockstar an opportunity to achieve the highest possible sales on current devices, and then reap additional profits when the PC version is released later, and then the PS6 version.

While both theories seem somewhat logical, the possibility of the PC version being delayed for more than a year seems closer to reality. Rather, its launch may coincide with new home appliances, while the possibility of its release on the first day remains almost impossible.
