Oppo is preparing to revolutionize the experience of using phones by launching its new phone, Oppo A6s Pro, in the mid-range category, tomorrow, the fourteenth of April, as a proactive step before the unveiling of its flagship phone, Find X9 Ultra. This new version aims to address one of the most annoying daily problems, which is the ability to interact with the phone screen smoothly during rain, as the phone offers an innovative technology that Oppo calls Ultra Touch in the Rain, which is far superior to its counterparts currently available in the market and even in phones designated for heavy tasks.

This pioneering technology allows the screen to respond to touches and record it with extreme accuracy, even in heavy storms. Oppo confirms that the phone operates completely efficiently under conditions that meet the Chinese red rain standard, which is classified as the heaviest category of rain. The phone’s durability is not limited to that, as it comes with IP69K certification, which represents the highest rating for protecting consumer phones from water and dust to provide protection against 38 types of water, in addition to its reliance on a drop-resistant diamond structure design, which makes it able to survive shocks and falls into pools of water with ease.

In terms of technical specifications, the phone features a 6.57-inch flat screen that supports a display resolution of 1080 pixels, and its performance depends on the Dimensity 6300 processor from MediaTek. The giant 7,000 mAh battery is considered one of the most prominent surprises of this device, especially since it maintains a slim design with a thickness of 8.32 mm and a light weight of 193 grams. The phone also includes a dual rear camera with a resolution of 50 and 2 megapixels and a front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels, with storage capacity options starting from 8 GB of RAM and up to 12 GB with a storage space of 512 GB.

Although Oppo has not confirmed official prices yet, these exceptional specifications exceed usual expectations in this price category. Given that the first phone to carry this high resistance rating was the OnePlus 15 phone produced by Oppo and is available at a price of approximately 900 US dollars, it is expected that this mid-range phone will contribute to making this advanced technology accessible to everyone, while details of the official launch tomorrow will reveal whether these technologies will live up to expectations in actual use.
