Samsung is currently working, according to new leaks, on developing a 200-megapixel 1/1.3-inch camera sensor, which is expected to be called ISOCELL HPC.

This sensor represents a jump in size compared to the HPB sensor used in the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which is 1/1.4 inches.

The information indicates that Samsung is targeting the upper segment with this new sensor, and that it will appear in one of Oppo’s future phones, most likely within the Find X10 series.

Technically, the sensor relies on UFCC, or Ultra Fine Color Filter, technology developed by Samsung to reduce the thickness of the module while improving light transmittance and color purity.

It is also expected to support an ultra-high dynamic range, which enhances its ability to capture finer details in different lighting conditions.
