A student in one of the villages of Naqada Center in Qena Governorate, in the first year of secondary school, tried to end her life, after taking a poisonous pill, because of her sadness over failing a subject in the first semester’s result.
The beginning came when the security services of the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Naqada Police Station that a female student had been poisoned in one of the villages affiliated with the center’s district.

After the examination, it was found that a 17-year-old student, in the first year of secondary school, was injured. She tried to end her life after taking a pill, because she received an additional score in the results of the first semester.
She was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment and care, while a report was drawn up regarding the incident and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
