Samsung announced the new Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 speakers during the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas on January 5, 2026. They feature unique designs that combine elegance and high audio performance. Both devices focus on delivering immersive sound with designs inspired by professional music studios, making them suitable for home or entertainment use.

Music Studio 5 comes with a compact cylindrical design that resembles a classic studio speaker, with multi-directional speakers that provide 360-degree surround sound with a power of 50 watts, and support for Dolby Atmos for a 3D audio experience. It has built-in microphones for voice control via Bixby or Alexa, with LED lighting that reacts to music. As for the Music Studio 7, it is slightly larger in size with a sound power of 100 watts, and adds additional speakers to enhance the deep bass, with a design similar to a loud studio speaker for better sound distribution in large rooms.

Both devices support Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi connectivity for streaming from phones or TVs, with Q-Symphony integration to work with Samsung TVs, and the SmartThings app for control and settings. In hands-on testing, the Music Studio 5 demonstrated balanced sound with relatively strong bass for the size, while the Music Studio 7 delivered a more immersive performance with high audio detail in music and movies.

The two devices operate with an internal battery that provides up to 8 hours in Music Studio 5 and 6 hours in Music Studio 7, with charging via USB-C. Samsung hasn’t announced specific pricing, but Music Studio 5 is expected to start at around $300 and Music Studio 7 at $500, with availability in the second quarter of 2026.

Both devices are promoted as stylish audio solutions for modern homes, with an emphasis on unique design that combines aesthetics and performance.
