Poco F8 Ultra tops the Poco phone lineup, offering strong and balanced performance at a lower price than the flagship category phones. However, curiosity remains about what is hiding inside the phone, especially with the presence of a built-in sub-speaker.

This is where the PBKreviews team comes in, which has published a complete teardown video revealing the internal components and offering several striking notes.

Firstly, the video shows a significant improvement in repairability. After the criticism that previous Poco F generations faced for being difficult to maintain, Poco seems to have relatively addressed this aspect in the F8 Ultra. However, disassembling the phone is still somewhat complicated, especially due to the jammed internal components and the large number of adhesives used.

As for the quality of manufacturing, there are no unexpected surprises. The aluminum middle frame is internally reinforced to enhance rigidity, and the area surrounding the camera unit has received additional reinforcement.

Regarding the subwoofer, a teardown shows its placement just below the camera protrusion, a design choice that partly explains the size of the camera module.

On the other hand, the battery stands out as a negative point in terms of maintenance, as it is difficult to access because it is surrounded by a large number of other components.

Finally, the video reveals the presence of thermal pads and copper protection layers surrounding both the processor and the battery, indicating the adoption of traditional cooling solutions without radical changes.
