Oxtak unveiled the Moneypenny smart audio recording device during CES 2026, at an official price of $249, with pre-orders starting in February 2026.

The device relies on artificial intelligence technologies to provide meeting summaries, simultaneous translation, and answer questions, by supporting a number of services such as Claude, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok, and OpenAI.

Access to these features requires an annual subscription that costs between $39 and $399. Meanwhile, recordings are automatically synced with the Oxtak service, with summaries and translations available via smartphone apps and the company’s website.

The system gives users the option to rely on any large third-party language model via an API key, while the company provides a business version that allows the deployment of a completely local solution running on internal servers, without relying on the cloud.

The device records meetings using two Dual-MEMS microphones, while supporting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to create instant translations that are displayed directly on a 4-inch color screen. Moneypenny also supports the use of external wireless microphones, as well as the ability to play recordings via the built-in speaker.

The device runs on an ARM Cortex-A53 processor and a custom operating system, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It contains a 2,000 mAh battery inside a slim body with dimensions of 123 x 80 x 12 mm, in addition to a fingerprint sensor to secure access to recordings.
