Xiaomi has launched its 6mm wireless power bank in new colors. Launched ahead of schedule, the accessory charges iPhones and Android smartphones via a built-in 5,000 mAh battery. Xiaomi is supposed to continue the global rollout of the 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 in more markets later this month.
Yesterday, Xiaomi finally added the 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 to its global site. Shortly before that, the company indicated that the accessory would not reach any other markets until after its launch event on February 28. However, it has quietly launched the 5000 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank in more countries ahead of schedule.
Initially, the 5000 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank was available exclusively in Japan before arriving in Australia, Singapore, and South Korea in late January. Xiaomi then listed the charger in the UK before quickly removing it. Now, the company has begun selling the accessory in Malaysia and Thailand to compete with Apple’s MagSafe battery, which is currently available at $79 on Amazon.

Not only that, but both countries received the 15W Ultra Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 with two new color options. To clarify, Xiaomi describes these colors as Graphite Black and Radiant Orange, and Glacier Silver was the only color option in which the accessory was previously available.
However, all finishes offer 22.5W wired charging and up to 15W wireless charging with a built-in 5,000mAh battery as well. Xiaomi has priced the 15W Ultra-Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 at 2,490 THB, about $80, in Thailand with a suggested retail price of 2,990 THB, about $96. Meanwhile, the same device arrived in Malaysia for 369 Malaysian ringgit, or about $95, with an introductory discount that brings it down to 259 Malaysian ringgit, or about $67.
