OnePlus is preparing to officially unveil the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V phones on January 8, after it began sharing some specifications and teaser videos over the past few days.
Now, the company has confirmed the battery capacity, which was the focus of numerous leaks, along with striking details related to the design of the camera unit.
OnePlus announced that the new series will have a huge battery with a capacity of 9000 mAh, which makes the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V among the most prominent phones in their category in terms of power capacity.
In addition, the company revealed that the protrusion of the camera unit in the Turbo 6 does not exceed only 1.7 mm above the back cover, a step that reflects an interest in reducing thickness as much as possible, even if the unit does not reach the level of complete fluidity as in some RedMagic phones.

Although the Turbo series is not primarily focused on imaging quality, achieving such a thin camera module with such a large battery is a remarkable achievement from a design perspective.
Confirmed details indicate that the Turbo 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, while the Turbo 6V is based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
The Turbo 6 will also get a 165Hz screen, while the Turbo 6V will come with a 144Hz screen. In terms of colors, OnePlus will provide the Turbo 6 in silver, black and green, while the Turbo 6V will be available in blue, black and white.
