Motorola launched the new Edge 70 Fusion phone globally, offering an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 5200 nits. The phone is currently available in European markets, while it is preparing to arrive in India later this week. The version aimed at the Indian market features a larger battery compared to the global version, providing a distinctive option in the middle segment

The phone comes as an economical alternative to the Edge 70 version, as it is based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which is used by modern mid-range phones such as the Fairphone 6, Nothing Phone 3a Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. The phone comes with a 5,200 mAh battery in Europe, while the Indian market gets a huge 7,000 mAh battery, with both versions supporting 68W fast charging.

The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels, with a 144Hz refresh rate and super brightness of up to 5200 nits. The imaging system includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a LYT-710 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, in addition to a 32-megapixel front camera to meet different photography needs.

Motorola has gathered all these specifications inside a body that has an IP69 standard for water and dust resistance. The global version weighs 177 grams with dimensions of 162.8 x 75.6 x 7.2 mm, while the Indian version weighs 193 grams and has a thickness of 7.99 mm to accommodate the larger battery, providing a practical and durable design.

The phone is available in distinctive colors in cooperation with the Pantone brand, including Country Air, Orient Blue, Silhouette, and Sporting Green. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, and is priced at £370 in the United Kingdom and €419.99 in the Eurozone, with the company offering Moto Buds Loop headphones as a free gift upon pre-order.
