Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, confirmed that coordination is currently underway with… Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi to develop final solutions regarding the Zamalek Club land file, in preparation for presenting it to the Council of Ministers with the aim of reaching a solution that satisfies all parties.
Al-Sherbiny explained, during his meeting on the Al-Hekaya program with the journalist Amr Adeeb, that the government is keen to deal with this file with the utmost flexibility and objectivity, in a way that ensures the preservation of legal rights and the implementation of decisions in accordance with the regulatory frameworks, taking into account the public interest and the interest of the club and its fans.
The Minister of Housing indicated that the joint work between the two ministries aims to reach a consensus formula that paves the way for a complete end to the crisis, stressing that the state is sparing no effort in addressing any file related to sports facilities or major public clubs.
