Motorola in China began raising interest in the X70 Air Pro, and then the same hint appeared via the company’s international account on the X platform with the promise of a new announcement on January 6.
While there are no confirmed details yet, expectations indicate that the announcement may concern the same device in its global version.
At the level of names, the X70 Air is sold in China under this name, while it is known internationally as the Edge 70. According to the leaks, Motorola is preparing to launch the first of the new Signature series phones, and it is expected to carry the name Edge 70 Ultra. Therefore, the X70 Air Pro is likely to be the same as the Edge 70 Ultra or Signature in its international version.
According to rumors, Motorola will rely on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor in this device, supported by 16 GB of RAM. The phone will also have a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to a version of the Android 16 operating system ready at launch.
As the announcement date approaches, it seems that we are about to see one of the most prominent Motorola phones for next year.
