A state of sadness fell over the people of the Nag Hammadi Center in Qena Governorate, after the death of a teacher named Khaled Ahmed Salama, aged 55, while performing Umrah rituals.

Ahmed, the son of the deceased, confirmed to Cairo 24 that his father died while performing rituals in the Holy Lands of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after traveling to perform Umrah, in order to obtain a good ending. He pointed out that the deceased was a staunch faster who performed all prayers in the mosque. He also had good morals and a good reputation and hoped from God for a good ending.
He continued, that the funeral prayer will be performed over the body of his late father in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and the burial will be in the Al-Baqi cemetery, adding: “Our Lord chose a good ending for him, and he died while performing Umrah, and this is our only consolation.”
During the past hours, many social media pioneers posted pictures of the deceased, praying to God to cover him with His vast mercy, to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
