Lenovo has unveiled a new digital camera in the Chinese market called Lenovo X1, and it comes with a compact design with specifications that are good within its price category.
The camera relies on a 12-megapixel Sony CMOS sensor with an f/2.2 lens aperture, in addition to supporting pixel fusion technology. According to the company, the camera can take photos with a resolution of up to 64 megapixels when using the full native resolution.
Lenovo highlights support for digital zoom up to 18x, with official samples showing images retaining a decent amount of detail when shooting in good lighting conditions. For low-light photography, the camera includes a built-in LED flash aimed at improving the clarity of night photos.
In terms of video, the Lenovo X1 camera supports recording 4K clips, with the ability to expand the storage space via a microSD card through a dedicated port. It also provides a fast transfer feature via OTG to facilitate the transfer of large files quickly.

The camera operates with a 950 mAh battery, which is sufficient for up to 60 minutes of video recording or about 90 minutes of continuous photography.
The promotional images indicate that the battery is removable, which is a plus. Other equipment includes a digital display, a tripod mounting port at the bottom for improved stability, and a sleek, simple design.
