After the success of the previous version, RedMagic dedicated to gaming is preparing to unveil its new tablet computer, RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, which comes as a direct successor to the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro. The last version, which was launched in June 2025, provided a distinctive experience thanks to its 9.06-inch OLED screen, its powerful processor, and its large battery. New and exciting leaks have now appeared that shed light on the specifications and essential upgrades that the next generation will offer to gaming fans.
According to reliable leaks, the new tablet will come with an advanced OLED screen measuring 9 inches and supporting a display resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels. This screen features a noticeable upgrade in the refresh rate, which will rise to 185 Hz compared to the 165 Hz rate in the previous generation to ensure maximum smoothness. The device will operate with the leading and latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm, which is the same powerful processor that powers Lenovo’s Legion Tab Gen 5 tablet computer.
The leaks revealed that the tablet will include an advanced liquid cooling system to maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions, which is the same advanced system that the company uses in its flagship phone, RedMagic 11 Pro. The device is expected to draw its power from a huge battery with a capacity of more than 8,300 mAh, with multiple options available, including 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage, 16 GB versions with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage, all the way to the most powerful version with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage space.
The source indicated that the tablet computer will come with a transparent and attractive design that reflects its gaming identity, with customizable built-in RGB lighting. This technical masterpiece will be available in distinctive color options bearing innovative names such as the Transparent Silver Tritium Wing and the Transparent Dark Tritium Night, in addition to the Golden Legend color. Although the company has not yet announced the official date of launching the device in the market, it has already become available for pre-order for users in China.
