The administration of Al-Hussein University Hospital extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the state agencies, especially the Ministry of Interior, and all concerned parties, for the tremendous efforts made, which were the result of fruitful solidarity and cooperation, reflecting the efficiency of state institutions, most notably the police, in dealing quickly and decisively with the return of the infant to her family.

The administration of Al Hussein Hospital said in its first statement after the baby’s return: In a solemn human scene in which feelings of anxiety were mixed with prayers, and then turned into overwhelming joy that spread throughout the Egyptian street, the efforts of the Egyptian state succeeded in returning a newborn baby girl to the arms of her family, after an incident that raised public opinion, topped social networking sites, and became the talk of the hour.
She continued: From the first moment, state agencies moved efficiently and quickly, embodying the extent of readiness and professionalism, as the Ministry of Interior played a heroic role in tracking down the threads of the incident, relying on the latest research and investigation methods, until the efforts were crowned with success in record time, to restore reassurance to hearts and prove that the security and safety of the citizen are at the forefront of the state’s priorities.
She continued: These efforts were not isolated from careful follow-up and great attention from the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, who always pays deep humanitarian attention to everything that affects the people of the country, in a clear confirmation of the national and humanitarian role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Foundation, and Dr. Salamah Daoud, President of Al-Azhar University.
She continued: There was also close follow-up from the leaders of Al-Azhar University, led by Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University, along with Dr. Hussein Aboul Gheit, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Jalil, Director General of Al-Hussein University Hospital, where the situation was managed with complete calm and responsibility, with full support for all measures that ensure speedy access to the truth.
She added: We cannot ignore the great humanitarian and professional role played by all the hospital employees, including doctors, nurses, and administrators, who dealt with the situation with a team spirit and were keen to perform their duty under exceptional circumstances, keeping in mind the safety of patients and their families. This incident revealed the true nature of the Egyptian state, which is evident in the concertedness of its institutions, the integration of their roles, and the speed of their response, sending a message of reassurance to every citizen that there is an eye that never sleeps. A hand that protects, and a heart that embraces.
She concluded: The safe return of the child is not just a happy ending to a difficult incident, but rather a message of hope and confidence in a nation that knows how to protect its children and stand by them in the darkest circumstances.
