The ambulance service sent 8 cars to transport two bodies and 4 injured people, including two who were in serious condition, in a collision between a transport vehicle and a semi-truck that occurred this evening, Thursday, near the old eastern desert axis of Manfalut, in the governorate. Assiut.

Names of victims and injured

Major General Wael Nassar, Assiut Security Director, received a notification from the warden of the Manfalut Police Station stating that a report had been received from the rescue operations room, of a two-vehicle collision on the Manfalut axis on the eastern desert road, with deaths and injuries.

Police officers moved to the scene of the accident, and 8 ambulances were dispatched from Assiut and Minya governorates. The inspection and examination revealed that both “Ahmed M. A.,” 22 years old, and “Mahmoud S. A.,” 25 years old, were killed, and they were transferred to the morgue of Manfalut Central Hospital.
While Mahmoud M.G., 48 years old, suspected of post-concussion, Ali M. M., 22 years old, complete coma, Abdo M. Z., 15 years old, complete coma, and another unidentified person, were transferred to New Assiut and Manfalut Central Hospitals.

A report has been drawn up regarding the incident, and the necessary legal measures are being taken and investigations are being initiated.
