The CES 2026 exhibition witnessed the unveiling of a high-level artistic and technical cooperation between the Kojima Productions studio, affiliated with the legendary developer Hideo Kojima, and the Asus Republic of Gamers brand. This partnership resulted in the launch of an exclusive collection of devices and accessories inspired by the studio’s famous mascot, “Ludens.” The design of this collection was artistically supervised by Yuji Shinkawa, the studio’s artistic director and character designer, to combine high-performance gaming hardware with the distinctive artistic aesthetics that raise the slogan “From “Sapiens to Ludens” (From Sapiens to Ludens).

Topping this luxury lineup is the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, a flexible 2-in-1 gaming tablet powered by an AMD AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor and a 13.4-inch ROG Nebula screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate. The device features a detachable keyboard with a unique design that extends to comfortably extend the arms and wrists, and comes in a sturdy white carrying case with a utilitarian design that mimics a suitcase. Shipping in Death Stranding, giving it a sci-fi and practical feel.
Shinkawa was keen to incorporate the “Ludens” spirit into every detail, as the devices feature a color palette that combines white, gold, and gray with touches of carbon fiber and sharp cuts that mimic astronaut suits. The collection also includes the ROG Keris II Origin-KJP mouse, with a light weight of 65 grams and a 42,000 DPI sensor, and the ROG Delta II-KJP headset, which shines with the golden Ludens logo and a funny warning phrase that says “Warning: Comfort may lead to just one more gamer syndrome,” as well as the giant ROG Scabbard II XL-KJP mouse pad featuring subtle Ludens character art.
Despite the current secrecy regarding price details and the exact launch date, reports indicate that this collection bearing the slogan “For Ludens Who Dare” will be available in the markets during the first quarter of 2026, offering Kojima fans and professional players an opportunity to own rare technical pieces of art.
