Step 3: Go to Google Keyboard settings, there you can disable the Use system language feature.
Step 4: Now you can open any messaging app. You can find the globe icon below the space bar, you can click this icon once. It will help you to change the language and you will be able to do it without using any third-party apps.
To provide multilingual support, you can also use other apps like Gboard by google, GO Keyboard Lite, Multiling O Keyboard + emoji, etc. They are lightweight apps but have a lot of features, like emoji features and auto-correction as well which is useful in multilingual support.
