The Honor Magic V5 was one of the most prominent foldable phones last year, and now some initial specifications have emerged for its successor, the Magic V6, which is expected to be launched in China by mid-2026, according to the leaker Digital Chat Station.
The Magic V6 will be based on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with a noticeable increase in battery capacity. The source explained that Honor is testing the phone with two different battery versions.
The first version comes with a dual battery capacity of 6,900 mAh, and is likely to be intended for international markets, while the second version includes a larger dual battery with a capacity of 7,200 mAh, and is expected to be intended for the Chinese market. The charging speed has not yet been revealed, but both versions will support wireless charging.

Among the notable additions to the new foldable phone is a 200-megapixel main camera, according to previous rumors, along with a periscopic telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The phone will also feature a side fingerprint sensor, improved dust and water resistance, and an ultra-thin design, reflecting the focus on high performance while maintaining ease of use and modern design.
