Roborock continued to flex its technical muscles at CES 2026 by unveiling its new pioneering robotic vacuum, the Roborock Saros 20 Sonic, which comes as a successor to the Saros 10 model that was launched last year, bringing with it substantial upgrades that place it at the top of the pyramid of smart vacuums.
The highlight of this version is the sheer power; The suction power reaches 35,000 Pa, which is a significant increase of more than 50% compared to the 22,000 Pa power of the previous Saros 10R version. To ensure perfect cleaning, the company equipped the device with a DuoDivide Main Brush and a FlexiArm Arc Side Brush, both of which are designed with technologies that prevent hair tangling. Regarding the scanning system, the device relies on vibrational mopping technology, but with 1.75 times greater pressure (downward pressure reaches 14N) and at a speed of 4,000 vibrations per minute. The mop also features the ability to extend to clean corners precisely, with the ability to detach the mops or lift the main brush automatically depending on the chosen cleaning mode.
At the design and movement levels, the company introduced the new AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 feature, which enables the robot to cross double-layer thresholds with a height of (4.5 + 4 cm). Despite these capabilities, the device remained thin at only 7.98 cm thick, taking advantage of the retractable LDS navigation sensor. The vacuum comes with an advanced RockDock base, which provides separate washing of the mop in hot water at 100°C, with self-cleaning features for the base and emptying the dust bin from the robot.
The Roborock Saros 20 Sonic is scheduled to go on sale between April and June 2026, and will be available in black and white with options for a Refill and Drainage System. Although the official price has not been announced, it is noteworthy that the previous generation was launched at a price of $1,599.99.
