The vicinity of the Centris pipe fire in Menoufia witnessed, a short while ago, rain falling on the site of the fire, as if in response to the prayers of the people and the takbirs that rose above the horizon in supplication to God Almighty.

The concerned agencies continue to deal with the fire, which has been going on for about 4 hours, after civil protection vehicles, water bombs, and ambulances were dispatched, and the security and executive leaders moved to the site.

Teams were hired ExtinguishingWith a number of loaders to separate the burning pipes to facilitate the fire control process, given the difficulty of dealing with the type of flammable pipes.

Loaders are working to separate the pipes and keep them apart, while the fire is witnessing an ongoing outbreak, with a total of 23 vehicles being deployed to deal with the incident, including 13 fire engines, 3 ambulances, and 5 water tanker cars, in addition to 2 fountains to support efforts to control the fire.

Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, is following up on firefighting efforts from the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, to ensure the procedures for immediately dealing with and controlling the fire.
Major General Alaa Al-Jahir, Director of Menoufia Security, had received a notification from Brigadier General Muhammad Abu Al-Azm, Chief of Ashmoun Police Station, stating that a report had been received of a fire in quantities of pipes belonging to the “Sumeet” Company operating in the area, and immediately coordination was made with Civil Protection to move to the scene of the incident.
