Asus updates the ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop with newer Intel processors, giving it a clear boost in performance compared to the previous generation.
Although the company did not specifically reveal the name of the processor, the presence of 16 cores suggests that it is based on the Core Ultra
Regarding graphics, Asus has kept the same options unchanged, as the device is available in three versions, including Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti.
The company did not clarify the memory or storage capacity of the RTX 5090 version, while the RTX 5080 version comes with 64 GB of LPDDR5x memory and 2 TB storage capacity, while the RTX 5070 Ti version suffices with 32 GB memory and 2 TB storage.

In terms of the screen, the 16-inch display panel with WQXGA resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate maintained its basic specifications, but Asus raised the brightness level in HDR mode to 1000 nits.
In addition, the company introduced a new circular ventilation opening design to improve heat dissipation, making these two updates the most prominent additions in this generation.
The specifications are completed with support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, along with a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device weighs about 1.95 kg, and relies on a 90 watt-hour battery.
Asus has not yet announced the official price, but indications point to a high cost, especially compared to the previous generation and the recent rise in memory prices.
