Famous leaker Mark Gurman once again stated what he expects Apple to release during the 3-day Apple Experience event early next month. Although most of the rumored products are merely spec upgrades, there is one brand new product that definitely warrants an in-person hands-on event.
Apple has already announced its first-of-its-kind Apple Experience hands-on event scheduled to be held on March 4 in three cities, London, New York, and Shanghai. Unlike typical keywords, Apple is expected to announce several new products on March 2, 3, and 4 via press releases.
Thanks to previous leaks and rumours, we already have a very good idea of what to expect from the Cupertino giant early next month. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a famous leaker, once again stated what he expects to see: a new low-cost MacBook with an A-series system on a chip, an updated entry-level iPad, an updated iPhone 17e, an updated MacBook Air, and the high-end MacBook Pro.
Although there is no full keynote this time, the reason behind Apple’s decision to organize an in-person hands-on experience is very clear, which is to show the design and colors of the new MacBook for beginners. The rest of the products didn’t really necessitate an in-person event, since Apple has long stuck to press releases for products that get their annual spec upgrades.
MacBook Pro computers will finally receive M5 Pro and Max processors, while the base version powered by the M5 processor, currently available for $1,499 on Amazon, will remain untouched. The MacBook Air will also get the system on the M5 chip, and the iPad will get the A18 chip. As expected, no other major changes are expected to occur to any of these products, which is usual for Apple.
The iPhone 17e will receive a major design update, with the addition of a Dynamic Island camera hole and a completely new lavender color. The low-cost MacBook will likely feature a never-before-seen chassis, house a 12.9-inch display and will likely ship in a whole host of fun colors that have been teased through promotional art for the upcoming official invite.
