The Beheira Health Directorate is organizing a free therapeutic medical convoy in the village of Abu Al-Sahma, affiliated with the Shubrakhit Center, this morning, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and its work will continue until tomorrow, Wednesday, to provide integrated health services to the people of the village and its surrounding areas.

The convoy includes a medical examination and free treatment in a number of different medical specialties, while allowing citizens to receive the service through a national ID card, and children with a birth certificate.

For her part, Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, confirmed that medical convoys represent one of the main axes of support for the health sector in the governorate, stressing that they will continue to be implemented periodically in various centers and villages, ensuring that medical services reach those who deserve them.

Earlier, the Population Unit at the Governorate General Office, in coordination with the local unit of the center and city of Kafr al-Dawwar and the Shepherd of Egypt Foundation, organized a population convoy in the village of Abu Saleh, with the participation of representatives of service and executive authorities.

The convoy provided various medical services to 294 citizens in a number of specialties, including: (internal medicine: 29 cases – children: 40 cases – teeth: 44 cases – nose and ears: 34 cases – dermatology: 38 cases – bones: 30 cases – ophthalmia: 51 cases), in addition to providing 25 medical glasses, and referring 3 cases for treatment at state expense to complete the necessary health care.

An awareness symposium entitled “Healthy Food” was also organized in coordination with the health and education sectors, which addressed the importance of healthy food as one of the basic pillars of maintaining public health and building a healthy body.
