Akasa Euler CMX is a new mini-ITX case adopting a fanless design, supporting CPUs up to Intel Core Ultra 200 with a maximum thermal design power of 35W. The box comes with a hefty price tag, and is already available for purchase in Europe, Asia, and North America.
With a capacity of just 4 litres, the new Akasa Oiler CMX box is designed to satisfy Mini ITX enthusiasts who prefer passive cooling systems, but don’t mind average performance numbers. The PC box is already available to order across several regions in Europe, Asia, and North America, with prices starting at €151, or about $203.
A premium Mini ITX case for passive cooling enthusiasts
The Mini ITX box will support 8th to 14th Gen Intel Core processors and 35W Core Ultra 200s. For example, processors like the Core Ultra 5 225T may be a good fit in the box, as they feature a lower thermal design power rating of 35W versus 65W thanks to reduced clock speeds. Furthermore, the Euler CMX lacks space for 3.5-inch drives, and instead features support for M2 drives exclusively.
Details of available input and output ports are as follows: Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports

Of course, to get more ports and video outputs, buyers will have to use the input and output options of their motherboard of choice. Supports wall mounting and VESA mounting, and offers an option for a 150W external power adapter. Otherwise, there is a 220W internal unit with a 4-pin DIN connector and 12V, 5V and 3.3V output paths.
As mentioned earlier, Intel CPUs are supported from 8th generation onwards, and are limited to the LGA 115X, LGA 1200, LGA 1700, and the latest LGA 1851 sockets. The design looks quite simple and attractive, and should be very suitable for use in space- and noise-constrained environments.
Regular consumers who prefer small form factor setups with active cooling can check out something like the Jonsbo C6 ATX box, currently available for just $65 on Amazon.
