Xiaomi officially revealed the launch date of its flagship phone, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, after it had hinted last week that it would soon appear in the Chinese market. This time, the company not only specified the date, but also reviewed the design and color options of the phone.
Xiaomi confirmed via a post on the Weibo platform that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China on December 25. In addition, the company published official images showing the back design and available color options.
The phone will be available in three colors, including a new green color called Starry Green, in addition to white and black. The teaser images also confirm that the phone relies on a triple rear camera system.

The Starry Green version features a back panel containing metallic particles that give it a shiny, almost metallic finish. In the same context, Xiaomi explained that the phone will come with a flat screen, separate audio control buttons, and a body thickness of 8.29 mm.
In terms of expected specifications, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is likely to be launched with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with a main camera with a 1-inch sensor, and a 200-megapixel periscope lens, in addition to new improvements to Leica lenses. The leaks also indicate that the phone will reach global markets in the coming months.
