Major General Tariq Rashid, Governor of Sohag, announced the removal of 2,485 cases of encroachment on state property, state entities, agricultural lands, and spatial variables, with the end of the second phase of wave 28 of removing encroachments, which continued during the period from February 7 to 26.

Removal of encroachments in Sohag

The Governor of Sohag explained that the local units of the centers, cities, and villages, in cooperation with the security services, and state agencies, launched massive campaigns to remove these encroachments, which resulted in the removal of 258 cases of encroachment on the property of the state and state agencies, with a total area of ​​32,730 square meters.

290 cases of spatial variables were dealt with, with an area of ​​35,341 square metres, in addition to removing 1,946 cases of encroachment on agricultural land with an area of ​​94 acres and 17 karats.

The governor stressed the passage and continuous follow-up and implementation of removal decisions with all determination, taking the necessary legal measures, referring them to the competent prosecution, and responding decisively to any form of encroachments on state property and agricultural lands, directing coordination between the local units and the spatial variables unit in the governorate to monitor any encroachments and remove them in the cradle, stressing that the removal should be up to the surface of the earth.

This comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the political leadership to preserve state property and agricultural lands, remove encroachments on them, impose the state’s prestige on its lands, and enforce the law.
