Xiaomi continues to push the improved HyperOS 3 update, as the company puts more phones on the list of devices to receive the new system, but some patience is still required.

According to a report from ITHome, the latest batch of phones in China has started getting the update based on Android 16, while global versions are usually delayed by about a month.

The update arrives gradually, meaning devices will receive it in sequential batches instead of being sent to all units at once. The current release focuses on 2023 phones, such as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and the Xiaomi 13 series.

The update also included several Redmi Note phones, extending from 2023 to 2025 models, including the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Note 14 Pro, and Note 13 Pro in its regular and Pro Plus versions.

However, this list remains for Chinese units only. The global release schedule is about a month slower, with the Xiaomi 13 series, for example, scheduled to get HyperOS 3 in January, along with some Redmi Note phones. While the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G version will start receiving the update during this month already.
